2018 NBA Mock Draft first round plus OKC Thunder picks
Team needs:
The Nuggets are pretty set in the frontcourt but will be in need of adding depth to the wings and backcourt. It feels appropriate given how close the team came to making the playoffs that they would still have access to a quality piece to add to their extremely deep roster. That said, several free agents are also wings who’ll be potentially leaving Denver this summer, so perfect time to stock up on adding more depth.
There will be several viable options still on the board when the Nuggets select, and arguably a few better suited for the wing/small forward position. However, Bridges offers several appealing qualities that may push him over the top.
First, he can play either forward position, second, his toolbox is brimming with assets including the ability to pass, create, and rebound. But, arguably and most importantly he can guard one through five. For a squad who excelled offensively, but struggled defensively this is a trait that can’t be overlooked.
