Brown is an underrated player who has been climbing boards recently. Think of Dillon Brooks last year when fans knew little about him, then he provided immediately serviceable minutes and ended up a starter. With talk of Schroder being shopped he’d be a perfect fit in Atlanta as the team rebuilds their culture and core.
"Although Dillon Brooks spent more time in Oregon his situation isn’t much different than Brown. Both hit the draft with additional assets teams weren’t aware of and are better defenders than initially thought. Yet, the best asset Brown may offer is his versatility on both sides of the floor. His playmaking is advanced for a shooting guard having been nurtured as a point guard in his youth. For teams who prefer to play two guards this provides added benefits given Brown’s ability to create."
