After a very odd year, the perfect team for Melton is the Celtics who are so tight they’ll welcome him with open arms and bring out the best in him.

"Due to the scandal Melton lost an entire season at USC, but worked on his own to develop his game in preparation for the NBA Draft. That diligence appears to have paid off as Melton is garnering promising reports on this growth via his team tryouts. Specifically, Melton worked on his range, fundamentals,  jump shot and perimeter efficiency which his workouts reportedly confirm he made progress in."
