. PF/C. Duke. Marvin Bagley. 2. player. 67

Marvin Bagley is said to be the guy Vlade and company are keen to select second. Again, I’ll point out Luka Doncic will still be available, and looking back at recent history it also wouldn’t surprise me if Divac elected to do something funky with the second pick if the right phone call occurred.

There will be plenty of interest from the good teams to land Doncic. Moreover, many of the top lottery teams don’t have a history of making excellent choices in the draft so expect the next few teams to be receiving copious phone calls as they get closer to making their selections.

That said, as much as I’m not one of the people who believe Bagley is a generational star, I will concede he’s a quality prospect who’ll affect his team with positives on both sides of the ball.

Here is TI’s full Bagley preview.

Team needs:

It’s all about the frontcourt in Sacramento which is somewhat ironic given Vlade Divac‘s penchant for drafting big men. That said, how Harry Giles returns from injury and after in essence, a rookie redshirt season will dictate if the KIngs need to fill copious frontcourt positions in both the starting and reserve lineups.
