Free Agency – Offseason Mandate:
Amid Stephen A. Smith endeavoring to create fake news Kevin Durant opted out and contrary to Smith’s assertions will not even entertain an LA market. Rather, he’ll name his price to Bob Myers who’ll subsequently back up the Brink’s trunk and appease KD.
News players like Jamal Crawford and Rudy Gay may follow David West’s lead only serve to make pundits and fans grit their teeth. I mean, if I wanted to just watch a team All-Stars I’d go to the Globetrotter games and not bother with 82 games a year. Fortunately, I gain as much joy watching up and coming squads.
Still enough already Golden State, you’re quickly becoming the team true NBA fans love to hate. For those in this camp, one thing to keep an eye on is the number of frontcourt players who are free agents (JaVale McGee, David West, Kevon Looney, and yes even Zaza).
Let that sink in for a moment and then realize they’ll probably all come back for a fast-food order from Oracle. Although, if I was a competitor I’d consider throwing a little bit of money at JaVale & Looney just to mess them up.
