#5 Devon Hall, Guard

Hall is one of three incoming Rookies for the OKC Thunder, but one of only two selections the organization made in this years draft. Hall stands at 6’5 so he has the ability to play both guard spots. At Virginia University, Hall knocked down 38-percent of his 3-point shots in his career.

This past season, Hall nailed the trey ball at a 43-percent-clip. It is always interesting to gather around your living room on a beautiful summer day staying in side to watch second round fringe prospects play meaningless summer league games. Wait, I’m the only one who finds that interesting?…

"After his sophomore season at Virginia Devon Hall improved his three-point percentage in each season thereafter. However, Hall only shot above 40 percent in his senior season. The NBA is a different beast compared to the college game, therefore how Hall’s shooting transitions will be intriguing."

Also noted in the draft prospect preview the one area of focus for Hall is while he does a lot well he doesn’t necessarily stand out in any one key category.. Check out his entire preview.
