#6 Phil Pressey, Guard

The undersized guard has been fighting for NBA jobs for the last three seasons. Around Oklahoma, if that name sounds familiar it was due to his college days. Pressey was a part of the last two Missouri Tiger squads to part-take in Big-12 action, while also playing in the Tigers first ever SEC season.

That is all history now. Pressey is currently  27 and well removed from his days of dominating the college hardwood–well, besides that one in Lawrence, Kansas.

The last minutes Pressey logged in the NBA came in the 2015-16 season. This is absolutely a throw away roster spot, but at least it is a guy some Okie’s or College basketball fans in general might recognize.  Although it’s not a given he’ll not make a roster, this appearance is more likely for Pressey to get a look from the G-League and European coaches in attendance at Vegas.

This brings up another point which should also be noted. Players in Vegas aren’t just competing to make the teams rosters they appear with. Their goal is simply to get on a professional squad.
