Tempers ran high in Vegas, as the OKC Thunder win their second NBA Summer League game.

The temperatures outside in Vegas are scorching. On the court, the heat was turned up for the Thunder-Raptors NBA summer league game.

92. 149. Final. 82. 81

The Oklahoma City Thunder improved their NBA Summer League record to 2-1. The Summer Thunder have been impressive in their last two contests. A dominating win over the Brooklyn Nets, and now a hard-fought victory over the Raptors put them in a great position to continue their Vegas summer tour. For the Thunder, today was a lot more frustrating, than their blow-out win against the Nets. The Raptors simply never went away.

The summer Thunder would go on a run, jumping out to a fifteen point lead or so, and here comes the Raptors. Nick Nurse, newly appointed head man for Toronto, could be heard through your television sets barking out orders, and clapping his hands together vigorously.

Nurse embodied what he wanted his players to do, and they did. The Raptors players were chippy, at times even getting in shoving matches. Both teams fought for the ball, inducing jump-balls, and steals left and right. Each team excited the crowd with huge blocks, steals, and contested three’s. All-in-all it was an intense, and fun NBA Summer League tilt.
