Trade No. 2

Kent Bazemore provides Memphis a chance to move on from Chandler Parsons. The 28-year-old wing shot a career high 39 percent from three last season and gives the Grizz some badly needed perimeter shooting. Memphis shot a hopeless 35.2 percent from deep, ranking 25th in 3-point percentage.

Atlanta receives two future first round picks from OKC and Memphis. The Hawks should have strong interest in Memphis’ pick because they could easily fall to the bottom of a loaded Western Conference. JaMychal Green and Ben McLemore offer experience to Atlanta’s roster, potentially serving as mentors for the young guys coming through.

Oklahoma City save close to $100-million-dollars and add depth at the small forward position with Dillon Brooks. The 22-year-old small forward played a solid role for the Grizz last season, making almost 36 percent of attempts from three. Although he’s prone to brain lapses on defense, Brooks has showed steady improvement in his rookie season.

Dedmon is a solid big who offers depth to OKC’s front line.
