The NBA announced a few marquee matchups that include the OKC Thunder

The OKC Thunder tip-off their 2018-19 campaign on October 16th, taking part in the second NBA game of the season. The Thunder will take on the Golden State Warriors at 9:30 central standard time, on TNT. The Warriors of course will be getting their championship rings that night, so expect the tip-off of this game to be delayed. The storylines for this game are clear. The star-studded floor will shine bright in a late night affair.

What will Russell Westbrook wear? Can the Thunder spoil a special night for the Warriors? The game itself will be amazing, but fans will need their coffee ready for the long night ahead on October 16th.

More from Thunderous Intentions

For the 9th straight year, the Oklahoma City Thunder will play on Christmas Day. Overall the Thunder have played on Christmas Day in all but one season of franchise history (2009-2010). This time, Thunder fans can cozy up to the fire, wrapped in their blankets, with their new gizmo’s and gadget’s as the OKC Thunder take on the Houston Rockets in Houston. A 180 from last Christmas when the Thunder hosted the Rockets. A year ago, OKC had Carmelo Anthony, but now the 15-year veteran will lace up for the Rockets. His fourth team.

Anytime the Thunder match up with James Harden it will be must watch TV. Add the Melo factor, along with the fact that Houston and OKC will be battling for positioning along the NBA standings all year-long.

The full schedule for the Oklahoma City Thunder is set to release Friday. We know two games, we will get the other 80 soon. Stay locked on Thunderous Intentions to get all of the latest Thunder news.
