No. 2 Playstation:

A grand entrance wouldn’t even begin to describe the release of the PG 2’s “PlayStation” colorway. The colorful, neon shoes took the internet by storm upon release in early February as Paul George teamed up with Sony to create the best collaboration project this year.

The black base of the shoe allows the bright, neon colors to stand out, as everything from the Nike logo to the eyelets shine with bright PS4-themed colors. George’s logo shines brilliantly on the tongue of the right shoe, while the PlayStation logo appears on the left.

A closer look at the shoe reveals black X’s, O’s, triangles and squares flying around the heel, which represent the PlayStation’s controller scheme. And written vertically on top of the shapes is “PG13.”  At the bottom is a clear, light-blue base with George’s logo at the heel.

The release of the shoe also sparked several appearances by George at video game trucks in Los Angeles.

No. 1 Mirror Image:

Iconic, legendary and historic. These are a few of the ways to describe Westbrook’s “Mirror Image” colorway of the Jordan ZER0.1.

Quite simply, the shoes are a work of art. With the body of the shoe displaying black-and-white photos of Russell Westbrook and decals of Michael Jordan memorabilia, the design is both vintage and modern. A white base lays the foundation for red trim and logos, while the black heel ties the shoe together. The clear sole of the shoe slowly transitions to the red bottoms, which match the secondary colors of the shoe.

As Westbrook’s first shoe release of the season, the Mirror Image set the tone for the remaining of 2018. And the shoes remain unmatched despite many worthy candidates. They can be purchased for $125.
