Thunder have a young prospect on the horizon.

Devon Hall was selected in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the OKC Thunder. And while he isn’t going to be playing for OKC, Hall will be getting lots of practice under his contract with Australia to play in the NBL for the Cairns Taipans.

It’s a good move for both Hall and the Thunder. While playing in Australia will grant Hall more money and time on the court than the OKC Blue may have been able to give, the Thunder still own Hall’s NBA rights.

The 6’2″ Virginia alum improved each season in college, finishing his college career with an average of 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Shooting 45% from the field and 43% from beyond the arc, Hall earned a spot on the All-ACC Tournament Team, All-ACC Second Team, All-ACC Defensive Team, and All-ACC Academic Team.
