Alex Abrines drives an American car.

The 6’6″ Spanish shooting guard was drafted by the OKC Thunder in 2013, and has been with the team ever since. While he no doubt values his Spanish roots, Alex Abrines choice in cars is more red-white-and-blue.

When asked by Erik Horne of NewsOK what car he drives, Abrines proudly answered: a 2016 Camaro. He elaborated:

"“American dream…I really love that car. When I saw the first Transformers, I fell in love.”"

And, in case you’re curious, the car is an automatic.

"“It’s easier but manual is more fun. I miss that. It’s been like three years…Probably when I’m older I’ll buy like some Ferrari or Lamborghini, but not like a bunch of them. One is enough.”"
