Do you like to play trivia?

Her trivia article uncovers 50 interesting facts which provide insight into every player on the roster along with team facts. Challenge your friends to take the test and see who knows the most.

"For example, can you guess which Thunder player was an avid skate boarder long before he picked up a basketball? Or which OKC player has a long storied connection in the NBA with several family members who’ve been a part of the National Basketball Association?"

Bob Beyer added to Donovan’s staff:

Following four seasons in Detroit under Stan Van Gundy (who was let go this summer by the Pistons) Bob Beyer was available. OKC were happy to nab the man who was an associate coach his past two seasons. OKC Thunder main site offers the full details:

His NBA coaching experience dates back to the 2003-04 season where he first served as an assistant coach with the Toronto Raptors. Beyer later spent 2007-12 on Stan Van Gundy’s Orlando Magic staff, where he helped lead the team to a 259-135 (.657) record and five straight postseason appearances, including a spot in the 2009 NBA Finals."

An opening became available for the OKC Thunder as Adrian Griffin left to join Nick Nurse’s staff in Toronto.

Outside of his Piston days Beyers offers a coaching experience of 30 years. Beyers worked under the legendary Bobby Knight at Texas Tech University in the NCAA. Considering the personalities of Van Gundy and Knight that’s a pretty impressive spectrum of talent and knowledge which Beyers has learned from. Donovan seems more laid back than those two coaches, but nonetheless has ample experience on his side.

Westbrook sings again:

If you follow Russell Westbrook on instagram, twitter or SnapChat you’ll often find him posting pictures of himself singing. He’s back at it as Up To the Thunder shared on Twitter.

Great to see the Brodie in a good mood as he gets his day underway.
