No. 26: Russ on Golden State
Surprisingly, this is Russell Westbrook’s first appearance on this list. It’s weird right? As soon as I got this assignment from Our Fearless Leader, Tamberlyn Richardson, my mind immediately went to one thing followed by another: first, can this be exclusively Russ dunks? And second, how many Russ dunks is too many Russ dunks?
You could arguably make this list out of just Russ dunks, but to save you–and me–from reading that, I decided to hold out for as long as I possibly could.
But this dunk is quite an entrance. I don’t entirely know what Russ saw that made him want to dunk this or think it was a viable option because up until the jump, his body is not facing the rim and he’s going through more traffic than this site gets in a month, but I’m sure glad he saw it.
