No. 21: Russ on the Rockets
I don’t currently know of any stats on Players Who Have Had Game Winning Dunks, but I’m pretty sure Russ would lead the pack. I’ve seriously never seen anyone win as many games for a team with dunks as Westbrook has for Oklahoma City. It’s absolutely wild how many times it’s happened.
This one, especially. How did no one else on Houston think to get in front of legitimate madman, Russell Westbrook, before he got a full head of steam going to the rim? Why weren’t there any defenders underneath the basket to stop him before he threw everything he had at the hoop? I have so many questions about this dunk, but the only thing I’m sure of is that there will never be another dunker like Westbrook.
