No. 39: Abrines on Thompson
Here’s a fun little fact, no one has ever expected Alex Abrines to dunk a basketball ever. Look it up. It’s never happened. Even in a completely empty gym setting no one has ever expected Abrines to dunk a ball. Much less in an NBA game over a 6’11” big with long arms whom he had to move past in the air in order to finish the play. He’s never going to be a big-time dunker, nor is he ever going to make plays like this on any kind of a regular basis, but the random surprise dunks he can have from time-to-time are a nice little plus to his game.
