January 19: OKC at Philadelphia 76rs
While the Thunder beat Philadelphia in both games last year in their two-game series, watching them play again should be on your calendar if you have a taste for bad blood. With tensions raising between Joel Embiid and Russell Westbrook, this is a meeting that should not be passed up.
Last year during their first game against one another, Steven Adams fouled out in triple-overtime, resulting in Embiid waving him goodbye. Westbrook caught a glimpse of this act, and once the game had finished with the Thunder taking the victory, Westbrook made a clear waving motion towards Embiid, telling him to go home. Once the two teams met again for the last time, Embiid and Westbrook still had revenge on their mind.
Within the second game, both Embiid and Westbrook dunked heavily on each other and shared glares all throughout the game. While this was the only notable highlight between the two players feelings towards each other, the second game established a rivalry that very well has the potential to extend far into the future.
