Top 15 OKC Thunder ‘must watch’ games of 2018-2019 schedule
January 10: OKC at San Antonio Spurs
Rivalry games are a must-watch and the Thunder against the San Antonio Spurs are one of many.
The two teams met four times during last season and came out tied 2-2. While they were a difficult opponent at times last year, this may not exactly be the case for this upcoming season.
With the departure of Tony Parker, Kyle Anderson and the retirement of Manu Ginobili, the Spurs are going to have to find a way to compensate for their loss of talent. San Antonio did manage to replace dormant Kawhi Leonard with DeMar DeRozan, but we will have to wait and see if this can help them maintain a successful record.
While the Spurs may appear to be a sinking ship, they should not be underestimated whatsoever. They have made the playoffs for 11 consecutive years now, and will be fighting as hard as they possibly can to maintain their status as a dominating team within the NBA.
