Top 15 OKC Thunder ‘must watch’ games of 2018-2019 schedule
November 5: New Orleans Pelicans at OKC
The New Orleans Pelicans showed much promise last year after they swept the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the playoffs. Before the playoffs, the Pelicans also tied with the Thunder in their season series 2-2, with an average point difference of 9.25. With these things taken into consideration, New Orleans and OKC will most likely have a thrilling series this season.
While the Pelicans have lost DeMarcus Cousins to the Golden State Warriors, they were able to sign Julius Randle on a two-year contract. Randle put up promising numbers last year, averaging 16.1 points per game with an overall field goal percentage of 55.8 percent. He is an impressive player and, if implemented into the Pelicans correctly, he could flourish into New Orleans next big player.
The Pelicans will also be seeing the return of Anthony Davis, who averages 28.1 points per game. Davis is a crucial part of both his teams offense and defense, and will definitely play a huge part in their success next season.
Both the Thunder and the Pelicans have seen good improvements in their rosters. The only question is, which improvements will prove to be better?
