Media Day and Training Camp dates confirmed:
Key dates have been confirmed for the OKC Thunder training camp and media day for the 2018-19 season. Although the NBA allows for players to arrive as early as September 20 it appears the Thunder are allowing their players to have a bit longer of an extended summer vacation as players will report for Media Day on September 24.
Billy Donovan, newly inducted Basketball Hall of Fame assistant Maurice Cheeks and the coaching staff will then launch into their training camp on September 25.

Training camp opens: Sept. 25
First preseason game: Oct. 3 (vs. Detroit)
First regular-season game: Oct. 16 (at Golden State)
First time I correctly say Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot: Nov. 17-ish.

This means camp will run an eight day training camp from Sept 24 to October 2. All in preparation for the squads first preseason game on October 3 versus Oklahoma native Blake Griffin and his Detroit Pistons.
As TI noted prior the Thunder will play four preseason games and open the regular season against nemesis Golden State Warriors.

I won’t leak Mcewen’s picks, but suffice to say she’s got some different candidates with solid back up analysis on why they could realistically win the hardware.

Another interesting tweet by Erik Horne noted a possible city uniform leak of the OKC Thunder.

This in followup to a tweet by Red Earth. Personally, I’m pretty excited about these uni’s and want to add one to the collection. As Horne points out the influence is native American in context.
