Steven Adams is Underrated, Mate

Speaking of OKC Thunder’s talent, one thing we are likely to hear over and over again this year is that Steven Adams is STILL not yet getting the recognition he deserves for his All-Star level of play. Will this year be the year?

Among other accomplishments, the Killer Kiwi was the player with the second-highest player efficiency rating (a measure of all-around player contributions) on the OKC Thunder, behind Westbrook and before five-time All-Star teammate Paul George. Thunderous Intentions’ writer Yams’s latest article thoroughly documents Steven Adam’s impact to the team as well as what’s in store.

"Steven Adams gave the OKC Thunder a little bit of everything last season. His super human strength and giant frame allowed him to average over five offensive rebounds a game. It also allowed him to lead the NBA in both contested rebound percentage (55.4) and box outs per game (11.4)."

Be sure to check out the full article before the season starts because Adams is never one to boast.
