NBA Scouts Talk OKC Thunder

NBA scouts have the inside scoop when it comes to pro ball, and they had quite a few anonymous things to say about each team. Sports Illustrated recently released an article with some unfiltered commentary on the OKC Thunder, and it gets pretty straight to the point.

A big piece of it reflected on the Carmelo Anthony for the Dennis Schroder move:

"I think George and Westbrook will spread their wings together and be more comfortable in their system without Carmelo Anthony there. That trade was big addition by subtraction, and they added Dennis Schroder too"

Awkward. Except who cares because OKC is going to show improvement! Fly, my little birdies! Playoff P is now Pidgeon P. Parrot P?? Okay let’s keep working on that nickname, but in the meantime, make sure to check out the other OKC hot takes.

Paul George is Team Jimmy Buckets

I am loving Paul George’s candidness since leaving Indiana and teaming up with Russ. And this time he’s putting in his two cents on the whole Jimmy Butler drama, where the two-way (offensive and defense) threat asked his team to be traded and noticeably bickered with his teammates on the court.

PG was asked to weigh in since he was in a similar situation when he expressed resentment with his former Pacers, and it looks like he fully supports his fellow player:

I agree with George on this one. Butler is very dedicated and his play shows the hard work he’s put in, and it would be such a shame to waste prime years.
