It’s Buck season
The Thunder closed out their preseason by defeating the Bucks, but they needed overtime to do so. Milwaukee brought a skeleton crew into the Peake, as eight players sat out, including All-Star and MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This game was not another example of the Thunder losing focus, as their own starters outside of Rookie Hamidou Diallo all played 22 minutes or less.
George does Donovan’s dribble routine
Steph Curry made this dribble routine famous, but it was the Thunder head coach who originally formed the intricate handle routine.

Burton stole the show in the preseason finale, scoring 11 of the Thunder’s 12 points in OT. Burton is currently signed to a two-way contract, but if he keeps this level of play up, he could earn a standard deal by years end.
PG’s determination domination
George only played 22-minutes on Tuesday night, but that did not prevent him from scoring 26-points in the first half, including this put back.

TL did you C that?
He put him in Grant’s tomb
The above tagline is courtesy of Thunder broadcaster Michael Cage. The play itself demonstrates how Jerami Grant is poised to potentially lead the team in blocked shots.
Best seat in the house
Westbrook decided to take in the game from a different viewpoint, as he sat in the stands baseline with spectators. The act was fun and carefree, perhaps if OKC gains a large lead in a regular season contest, while Russ is in street clothes he will elect to join the fans again.
This concludes OKC Thunder Sunday Social, for the week of October 7th – 13th. Next week will be a special opening week edition.
Have a great opening week Thunder Nation, stay with Thunder Intentions as we will have full coverage from opening night 2018.
