Schroder had one of the most memorable off-seasons in recent memory. The 25 year-old was traded to Oklahoma City, dealing with misdemeanor charges following a fight outside a bar in Atlanta, Georgia and playing International basketball for Germany.

Originally charged with misdemeanor battery, the DeKalb County District Attorney’s office recommended Schroder be prosecuted with felony aggravated battery instead. Schroder is currently fighting the charge and should he be convicted could face up to 20 years in prison. The case remains open and continues to be investigated.

Then came the trade to the Thunder in July. Upon learning his new destination to the Mid-west, Schroder took to Instagram to post a picture of himself in Thunder gear. OKC Thunder Insider and ESPN’s Royce Young tweeted his photo moments after the trade was made.

Lastly, the 25 year-old represented Germany in a bid to make the FIBA World Cup next year. In three wins against Serbia, Estonia and Israel, Schroder had his best performance came in his latest outing. In their 112-98 win, Schroder posted 30 points (10-24 firom the field, 1-9 3-point, 9-15 free throws) and 13 assists in 43 minutes.
