Adams is an absolute animal. After posting 17 points (6-12 from the field, 5-8 FT), 11 rebounds, 4 assists and two steals in OKC’s 108-100 loss to Golden State, the big kiwi posted a monster 17 points (8-11 from the field, 1-2 FT), 18 rebounds in 33 minutes. While his numbers are impressive, Adams is only averaging 11 shots per game. The Thunder must utilize more on the offensive end.

While not the most polished on the block, Adams sheer size makes mountains move. He makes a nice move against Mike Scott, forcing him into the paint with his strength and power.

Adams real advantage comes in the pick and roll. As one of the most athletic centers in the NBA, the big kiwi is a force rolling to the hoop. In the biggest dunk of the night, Adams places Marjanovic on a poster with a monstrous one-handed slam.

Adams did not receive a single shot in the first quarter and hit his first two minutes into the the second. Whether its rolling to the rim or isolating in the post, OKC cannot afford to wait eight minutes to give the big man a shot. As it stands, Adams is averaging 17 points,14.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals on 60.9 percent shooting.

Moral of the story? Get this man the ball.
