Game Grades: OKC Thunder start season on a two game losing skid
By Rylan Stiles
OKC Thunder Best Reserve:
Alex Abrines has been incredible so far this season. The third year guard needed to gain consistency and confidence this year, and thus far he has. Abrines in his first minutes of action left Thunder fans with their jaws on the floor, as he actually put the ball on the deck and drove to the basket.
Alex Abrines went 2 for 7 from three, while playing some solid, and at times physical defense. It was a great sight to see, and for the second straight games Abrines earns best reserve honors.
Best Opponent:
Gallinari went from 26 points tonight on 10 for 16 shooting, with five rebounds to boot. The Clippers power forward showed some great finishes in tonight’s contest.

The OKC Thunder were handed their second loss of the season by the L.A. Clippers, and go win-less on the west coast trip without Russell Westbrook. Coming into this week, every Thunder fans expected it to end with a 2-1 record Sunday, and now that game against the Kings will hopefully save the squad from a win-less first week.
This game also proved big due to the fact that a year ago we saw this team struggle to win the games they were suppose to, and tonight was much of the same. The OKC Thunder are a better basketball team than the Clippers but due to their slow start, and not having their best player, it resulted in a loss. The OKC Thunder need to start strong and finish strong on Sunday evening for the home opener against the Kings.
