The OKC Thunder dropped a winnable game at home against the Boston Celtics. They haven’t won this year.
The OKC Thunder should have won this game. The Thunder didn’t win this game. Russell Westbrook shot 5-20 from the field, but thank goodness for all of our sanity that he did not get a triple-double, because the internet would have been insufferable.
Instead, we Thunder fans just get to be sad of our own accord. But look, yes, the Thunder are 0-4. And yes, they’re shooting about 25 percent from three – a number that just made me throw up on my keyboard a little. And sure, they haven’t even broken 100 points in three of their four games during a season which looks to be allowing all-time highs in points to basically everyone else.

Sure. That’s all true. The fact is, though, that the Thunder have excuses. For now. They’re mostly boring math, but they exist. The Thunder are creating good shots for open, good shooters. OKC’s best players, Russell Westbrook and Paul George, have not been playing well, and will surely play better.
Shots will fall, and averages will average. But, how long do we have to wait? And how long does Billy Donovan have? The Topic: Thunder team rehashes the Thunder’s loss to Boston in this episode. Have a listen.
