Game Grades: OKC Thunder rattle off fifth straight win

Having to man the ship after the Westbrook injury, Schroder filled in nicely. Schroder looked confident, comfortable, and in control during this contest. The veteran back up scored over 14 points in the second half alone. Dennis totaled 22 points, shooting over 50 percent from the floor. Schroder made the game-sealing free throws and earned the game-clinching steal to dribble out the clock on the team’s fifth straight win.

Julius Randle was incredible tonight, feasting down low with 26 points on perfect shooting from the floor. Randle also grabbed eight boards and earned a pair of blocks and a steal on the defensive end.
The big man also made a clutch three-point shot that pulled the Pelicans within two with 20 ticks left.
Randle has been a great addition to the Pelicans so far, and absolutely dominated the Thunder in the minutes he played.
Final Thoughts
The Thunder won their fifth straight game on Monday, and have a date with the lowly Cavs lined up next. OKC has gone from hitting the panic button, to putting themselves in a pretty good position with a favorable schedule coming up.
The OKC Thunder will start another back to back set on Wednesday when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Cavs. the next night, the team will return home to host the Houston Rockets.
