Indiana Pacers:

Despite losing three games the Pacers are one of the few squads who excel in offensive field goal efficiency while also having prowess at holding their counterparts in check. Aside from tough starts and facing the Rockets at a terrible time (twice in one week to boot) they continue to be the one squad in the East who reminds it might be a five horse race, not two or three as originally predicted.

Keep an eye on this squad who made smart additions in the offseason, play a gritty no-quit style of ball and are directed by the underrated Nate MacMillan whose coaching style is adept on both sides of the court.

Factors:

Offensive Rating: 13th
Defensive Rating:  7th
Net Differential: 8th
Offensive field goal efficiency:  48.3 percent
Opponent field goal efficiency:  44.1 percent
Win/Loss: Beat Miami Heat, lost to Rockets twice and the 76ers.
Record: 8-6
