Boston Celtics:

The Celtics are in a conundrum – they boasted the top ranked defense in week five, but still can’t seem to find a consistent semblance of offense. Even with the overtime victory over the Raptors it felt like fools gold because OG Anunoby got injured early and then the iffy whistle sent Danny Green and Pascal Siakam out of the game with six fouls. For those counting that’s three of the Raptors best defenders sitting on the sidelines! Give me those three players plus Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry and tell me it’s the same result.

Stevens has to figure this out quickly or the Celtics could be in danger of not retaining home court or worse facing a team like the Indiana Pacers in the first round who’ll have nothing to lose by bringing their aggressive defense at the Celts.

Factors:

Record: 9-7
Injuries: Irving was out versus Jazz.
