The OKC Thunder stuffed the stat sheet for Thanksgiving, but was that because of a gravy schedule or better cooking?

The OKC Thunder are, for the second show in a row, doing exactly what we asked of them.  This makes things difficult if our intention was to critique and request weekly changes in the nuance of a team based on their success or failure. They haven’t been perfect, but they have been good.

OKC even opened the season adopting a very important aptitude; learning to succeed when missing a key component. This is a new development in a post Kevin Durant Oklahoma City.

As the season goes along there is nothing more beneficial in a playoff run than the ability to wade the waters of adversity. It is never beneficial to run a squad shorthanded, but if there was ever a time to learn, November is the time.

As we look ahead to next week’s show, we sit back and look at the cloud nine ride sitting peacefully in front of the OKC Thunder. In more simpler terms, the Thunder have it cake this week. Easy street is nice in the heartland, but the rest of the league is not so lucky.

More from Thunder News

For the first time in years, the leagues spread smooth. Not one lump higher than the other. Is this the product of complacent play in the early goings of the slog? Or is this the product of the Eastern half of the league finally crawling out of their grave? Has the East finally got around to reanimating itself due to the acquisition of certain progress through means of prolonged failure?

Speaking of acquisitions of certain progress, how about Fultz? We try to navigate the minefield surrounding Fultz as he teeters over the edge of the worst kind of immortality.

There is other stuff sprinkled in and around the pod, but once again we thank you so much for listening.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are coasting, but we will always promise not to.

See you on Monday!
