After securing victories against two Eastern Conference opponents last week, the OKC Thunder now take to the road for three more.

The OKC Thunder took care of business last week against lower-end Eastern Conference opponents. This week will bring more of the same, save for the Monday game which will be a tough matchup against a hot team. The schedule is as follows:

Detroit Pistons (Monday 12/3)

Brooklyn Nets (Wednesday 12/5)

Chicago Bulls (Friday 12/7)

Despite the low volume of games last week, several OKC Thunder players put up nice fantasy lines. With the stakes of the games this week being similar to last week, I have chosen to highlight a pair of Oklahoma City guys that had a nice week previously.

Russell Westbrook

Any concerns about Russell Westbrook‘s health coming back from his hiatus have been thoroughly squashed. The former NBA MVP has looked like his old self of late, posting triple-doubles in three of his last five outings. He only missed trip-dubs in the other two by a collective total of two assists and a rebound.

It always feels a bit cheap to bring up Westbrook in an article like this, but any player throwing up triple-doubles like he is deserves the nod.

Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant came up one point shy off of his career high last week, dropping 21 with four blocks against Cleveland. Unfortunately, he followed that performance up a five point effort in Atlanta.

Grant does not always shine brightly with both Paul George and Russell Westbrook in the lineup, but his blocking and recent scoring outburst could spell nice things against this week’s fantasy opponents.

Blake Griffin

The devilishly handsome Blake Griffin is continuing to score in bunches, averaging 25 points and 9.5 boards this season. His efficiency has been down lately and his three-point shooting has predictably fallen off, but he is still the fantasy play of the week for Detroit.

Griffin has shown flashes this season of his vintage athleticism, which most basketball fans can appreciate.

Spencer Dinwiddie

More from Thunderous Intentions

With Joe Harris reclaiming his spot in the starting lineup, Spencer Dinwiddie is headed back to his sixth man role. Even so, Dinwiddie has been a reliable source of points and assists over the past month or so, still hovering close to 30 minutes per contest.

Lauri Markkanen

Back from an extended elbow injury, Lauri Markannen saw his first action of the season last Saturday. He hit a few threes and played a surprising 26 minutes.

Markkanen may not necessarily be the strongest fantasy play this week for Chicago (see: Zach LaVine), just consider this more of a heads up about him.

He will likely replace Jabari Parker in the starting lineup soon and may be worth a look in daily fantasy leagues while he’s still cheap.
