The OKC Thunder look to get a gift this holiday season with the return of Terrance Ferguson. They also look to give back to the community during the season of giving.
With the OKC Thunder wrapping up an away game against the Detroit Pistons, we have officially played our first game in December, and you know what that means. It’s the holiday season! The Thunder have used this time as an opportunity to supply the less fortunate with some old fashion OKC love.
Paul George holiday bowling event
As talked about in Jimmy Do’s article on okcthunder.com, Paul George just had his annual bowling event for stroke survivors. This is a beautiful tradition that PG started last year in which he takes this time to catch up with the stroke survivors and their families in a fun night of bowling.
In the article, Paul elaborates on his reasoning for leading such a powerful event.
"This is about us as a group to help other families in bringing awareness to know the signs and how to prevent stroke."

Terrance Ferguson also contributed to the season of giving, as he went to a local grocery store with the less fortunate and helped them prepare for the holiday season. It’s absolutely amazing seeing these Thunder players get out in the community and make a difference. (Via OKC Thunder Twitter)
Return of Ferguson
The OKC Thunder are fortunate to get a gift of their own this week, with the return of Terrance Ferguson. As TI’s Lawrence George specified in his article yesterday, Terrance Ferguson (along with Hamidou Diallo) has been healing from a nasty ankle injury suffered against the Warriors.
"After a slew of injuries to OKC Thunder wings in the past two weeks, Terrance Ferguson took part in full contact while Hamidou Diallo experiences soreness in his recently sprained right ankle."
The Thunder hope that with the return of Ferguson, they will be able to push the pace and spread the floor. Ferguson’s hustle was something that could not be replaced on this OKC squad.
Now all that’s left is for the Thunder to give fans a gift, with a 3-game Eastern conference sweep this week.
