OKC Thunder Best Reserve:

DENNIS SCHRODER. B. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder

I guess I have to pick the best reserve for OKC, although I would much rather just drool over Paul George some more after his epic performance. Dennis Schroder was the only player off the bench to crack double-digit points or even above five points. Schroder turned in 12 points, with two assists and two rebounds to boot. Schroder shot 41 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep.

Best Opponent:

A. . SF. Brooklyn Nets. JOE HARRIS

The Nets got Joe Harris back from injury tonight. The last time Harris faced off with the Thunder, he banged in five 3’s on as many attempts in a one-point Nets loss. Harris picked up where he left off a year ago against the Thunder and continued his hot season tonight.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Joe Harris turned in 19 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor, and 53 percent from deep. Harris also grabbed seven rebounds, earned a steal and dished out two assists.

Final Thoughts

What just happened? According to the OKC Thunder, tonight’s comeback was the largest in OKC regular season history (the 25 point Game 5 comeback versus the Jazz is the greatest, but that occurred in the post season).

The Thunder were down by 23 points, turned the ball over 13 times, and shot 34 percent from the perimeter and 57 percent from the line. Somehow, they won this dogfight of a game. That is the difference between this years squad and last years squad.

OKC ended up dominating on the glass grabbing 60 rebounds compared to the 45 rebounds from the Nets. The lead changed six times and OKC could only muster up a four point lead as their largest of the contest.
