2. A Russ-PG connection
This was my favorite play of the whole week given the context of the game, the difficulty of Russ’ pass and PG’s unexpected explosiveness to catch it. After losing his mind the play prior for a missed foul call, PG attacks the rim and slams it home. He gave the same ref a death stare and lets him know of his disdain for the missed call.
1. PG hits the game winner

After years of being mocked for not hitting a game winner, PG13 put those criticisms to rest by sticking the dagger into Brooklyn. Oklahoma City forced a D’Angelo Russell miss and then Russ ended up with the ball after it was tipped by Adams. In previous years, Billy Donovan would allow play to unfold and would end in a poor Westbrook shot. Instead, Donovan called a time-out.
On a play design, Dennis Schroder in-bounds the ball to Russ. PG13 looks to set a screen but instead slips to the perimeter. Westbrook delivers him the perfect pass, George fakes and the rest is history.
Thats the week that was. Stay tuned for next weeks edition as OKC have four games in seven nights sure to supply us with plenty of highlights
