Man, this is a stressful team

Full disclosure: I don’t watch games live unless I’m writing takeaways about them; it’s just a personal preference. But man, it seems like every time I tune into a Thunder game I can’t start writing anything until the last two minutes of the game because no matter how big the difference may be, Oklahoma City has a way of always keeping things close. It’s honestly a talent at this point.

It seems like they have a preternatural ability to get down by just enough to make everyone think the game is over right before coming back and surprising the opponent; tonight was no different. The game was a pretty close affair through most of the night until right around the three-minute mark when the Pelicans took a seven-point lead and looked like they were going to pull away.

In true Oklahoma City fashion, however, they fought back and put up a strong effort before ultimately being overpowered by Anthony Davis and New Orleans. It was a closer game than anyone probably expected, but the strong effort they put up throughout the game was commendable.
