14-14. Previous: 18th. New Orleans Pelicans. 18. team. 69.

Witness one game of Anthony Davis at his best and it’s understandable why he may be the most coveted player in the NBA (all due respect to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard). Davis is a freak of nature given how easily he can affect what occurs on the court.

The big question in New Orleans is how active they’ll be to add depth this squad (or more accurately- defensive depth).

New Orleans Pelicans:

Offensive Rating: 3rd
Defensive Rating: 24th
Net Differential: 11th

Points per game: 118.0 (2nd)
Offensive field goal efficiency: 48.2  percent (3rd)
Opponents points per game: 115.6 (27th)
Opponent field goal efficiency: 46.6 percent (tied 20th)

Record: tenth in WC
Home: 10-4
Road:  4-10
Back to back sets: 5

Versus the East: 7-5
Versus the West: 7-9

Week eight 2-2:  Wins Mavericks, @ Pistons lost to Clippers, Grizzlies
On tap for week 9: @Celtics, Thunder, Heat
