Just 10 days ago, OKC Thunder left Chicago with a heart-wrenching 2-point loss. It ended a seven game losing streak for Chicago, and a four game winning streak for OKC.
That’s not to say the Bulls haven’t suffered their share of angst since that win. This team is deceiving and has plenty of young talent. With Kris Dunn back in the lineup, they gain another defender which presumably is the style newly appointed head coach Jim Boylen would prefer identity becomes.
On paper, any meeting of the two teams would assure an OKC win. However, on the court, anything could happen. And, it did. OKC allowed a team with only five wins at the time to score a whopping 70 points in the first half of the meeting. A number that enhances the vitality of an OKC team that can play true to its established defensive reputation.
After multiple riveting defensive games, OKC has seemed to lose sight once again. Saturday night, in OKC’s win over LA, the team allowed a double-digit lead to dwindle ending in the 6-point victory.
