2. Kevin Durant

Without knowing him personally, I would bet good money Westbrook hasn’t forgiven Kevin Durant for leaving and doing it the way he did. And my guess is the only reason Durant and Westbrook have appeared to get along during the All-Star game and in Team USA practices is because they’re technically teammates during that particular time.

If I had to guess, the only way Westbrook endured Durant and is because he put his beef aside for the moment to pursue a common goal. But other than those rare times, Durant is probably dead to Westbrook, much to the joy of network television making money off high ratings.

Still, I don’t think the beef will escalate any more than it already has. Both parties have probably said what they needed to say by now and they’ve proven to co-exist when needed in the past.

At the end of the day, it’s a done deal. Westbrook will probably never forgive Durant and the two will never be friends again. Sometimes the story doesn’t end in them living happily ever after, and this is one of those times.  Westbrook probably has no desire to recover any sort of friendship, and neither do many of the fans.
