8. Get that weak stuff outta here

Since the departure of Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City have lacked a legitimate rim protector. While Adams is a fantastic defender, Noel is able to explode off the ground at a much quicker rate.

Against the Utah Jazz, guard Dante Exum breezes past Dennis Schroder and challenges Noel at the rim. The 24-year-old big man sees the play all the way and makes a mockery of the Australian’s lay-up attempt.

7. Give me that

Noel is often criticized for his desire to chase blocks but you cannot deny the hustle. On a Denver pick and roll, Mason Plumlee receives a pass from Monte Morris and goes up for the dunk. Noel comes over the top and stuffs him at the top.

Schroder gambles for a steal leaving a big hole up the middle of the court for Plumlee to roll through. Noel makes a tremendous recovery to stop an easy dunk.
