OKC Thunder week that was – Top 10 plays from OKC’s West Coast gauntlet
4. Grant’s and-1 fade-away
Jerami Grant put up his best performance in the Thunder’s win over the Los Angeles Clippers, dominating on both sides of the ball en-route to 18 points. His most impressive shot came early in the first quarter.
While in the midst of a post move, Tobias Harris shoves Grant and the 25-year-old converts a rainbow shot for the and-1.
While Grant had a number of impressive offensive plays in the game, this was his most difficult shot. The big man has certainly come a long way from the forward who couldn’t keep his dribble to the two-way threat he is today.
3. Kiwi locomotive coming through
In one of the most entertaining sequences of the year thus far, Oklahoma City get out on the break after a Utah turnover. Dennis Schroder picks up the loose ball, throws ahead to Russ who fakes back to the German only to deliver a beautiful no-look pass to Adams running full steam the rack for the slam.
This sequence came in Oklahoma City’s 42-point third quarter blitz lead by PG13’s 17 points. Russ’ pass drew oohs and ahhs of the crowd who were left in awe.
