Since assuming the mantle as head coach for the Chicago Bulls, Jim Boylen has mentored his squad to a 2-4 record (2-6 as of this posting). He’s also almost had a mutiny on his hands after demanding his squad attend practice following a 77-133 drubbing to the Boston Celtics at the end of week eight. A players only meeting, proceeded by a coaches-players meeting and a call to NBA Players Association seemingly got the team on the same page.
But, then week nine started and the team came out just as disinterested and lacking defensive effort in an 89-108 loss to the Spurs.
