Player Grades

PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RUSSELL WESTBROOK. A+.

As mentioned in the last slide, Russell Westbrook had visions of 2016-17 dancing in his head tonight. After struggling as of late Westbrook took off tonight when the team needed him the most. Down his teammate who is having an MVP caliber season, Westbrook dominated.

Tonight was Westbrook’s first time scoring 25 points in the month of December, and the first time totaling 30 points since November 23rd.

Russell Westbrook topped that with 40 points capped off by a nailed three-point shot that shall him feel himself down the court like old times.

I. . SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. TERRANCE FERGUSON

Terrance Ferguson earned an I for incomplete as he only logged six minutes tonight, but in that span had four points and a personal foul.

A. . SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. DENNIS SCHRODER

Schroder getting the start for the injured PG13, taking over for Ferguson at the two and allowing Ferguson to slide down to the three. Schroder, like his fellow guard Russell Westbrook broke out of his mini-slump tonight.

Schroder compiled 20-points and handed out six assists tonight while shooting 44-percent from the field.  Schroder also nabbed two steals and pulled down four rebounds.

Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT. A-. . PF

Jerami Grant had one of, if not his best game of the season tonight. Grant tallied -points while collected -rebounds on the offensive end with an assist to boot.

Defensively, Grant was all over the floor and it showed in his three steals and two blocks on that end. Grant was extremely impressive in this win for the Thunder.

C. Oklahoma City Thunder. STEVEN ADAMS. B+.

Steven Adams posted another double-double as he hauled in -rebounds while pouring in -points. Adams earned three steals on the defensive end where he anchored the Thunder’s defense as they were without their best defender tonight.

Oh yeah, vote Steven Adams into the All-Star Game.
