Player Grades

RUSSELL WESTBROOK. F. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder

Russell Westbrook started this contest 2-for-7 from the floor, it got so bad for Russell Westbrook, that he stripped off his shooting sleeves and was called for a technical foul that helped the Mavericks earn a 10 point lead in the third.

it did not get any better. Despite the silly wardrobe change, Westbrook went 4-for-222 and 0-for-8 from three-point land. One might think if you are 0-for-8 and 4-for-222 maybe stop shooting? Russell Westbrook’s careless, lazy, too-cool-for-school pass almost cost the OKC Thunder this basketball game. His poorly timed elbow jumped that rattled out, did cost them the game.

Coming off his best game of the year on Friday, Westbrook fell back into his 2018-19 season blues.

. SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. ABDEL NADER. C

Abdel Nader was thrust into the starting spot after Ferguson was held out of the game very late tonight, and coming off a career high, this move really messed with what little timing he had developed. Nader looked like a deer in headlights tonight, and it is clear Friday was just a flash in the pan.

A. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PAUL GEORGE

After a sluggish start, Paul George went off scoring 11 straight points late in the fourth quarter helping him total 36 points, leading the way for the OKC Thunder. Paul George missed a potential game-winner over Dennis Smith Jr.

B. . PF. Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT

Jerami Grant earned two steals and collected two defensive rebounds while posting 10 points and the only thing you can always say about Grant is that he displays his length and athleticism every night.

B. . C. Oklahoma City Thunder. STEVEN ADAMS

Steven Adams was amazingly gritty and hustled as always and without DeAndre Jordan, in the game, no one could match Adams’ physicality, and even when Adams and Jordan shared the floor, Dallas struggled to contain the big Kiwi.
