PG is the MVP

Paul George put up yet another dominant game on both ends tonight, putting up 37 points on 10-23 from the field, 5-9 from three, and a James Harden-esque 12-14 from the free throw line while playing fantastic defense all night. This game came right after yet another 37 point game against the LA Lakers on Wednesday night where he basically won OKC the game.

He’s been the most valuable player for them this season and it’s not even that close. He’s basically been carrying their offense every single night and they wouldn’t be nearly as good without him. Harden is producing at an unbelievable offensively rate out in Houston, but George isn’t too far behind him. And with the impact he has defensively on a nightly basis, he’s arguably been just as valuable for the OKC Thunder defensively.

He might not win the award, but he absolutely deserves to be at the forefront of the conversation.
