On a night where offense reigned supreme, the OKC Thunder lose a heartbreaker to the San Antonio Spurs, their third loss in a row. Player grades offer details.

What a game.

There is so much to unpack from tonight’s offensive showcase that unfortunately saw the OKC Thunder fall 154-147 to the Spurs in double overtime. Both teams fought as if it was Game 7 of the Conference Finals and neither should feel bad about their efforts tonight.

The Spurs were an unfathomable 16-19 from the 3-point line tonight. Russell Westbrook had a career-high 24 assists. It felt like LaMarcus Aldridge scored a thousand points. All in all, it was a classic game between two very good teams.

147. 149. 154. 29. Final

This loss, however, leaves the OKC Thunder reeling after now losing three consecutive games. They must get focused for revenge as they play these same Spurs again in just two days time. The Western Conference is a gauntlet and the playoffs are never promised. Each game from here on out is a must win if you are the OKC Thunder.

What a fun one tonight, though. Despite all the damage, the Spurs did offensively, the Thunder never quit and fought tooth and nail to the bitter end. Got to love that if you’re an OKC fan.

On to tonight’s player grades.
