Player Grades

A. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RUSSELL WESTBROOK

Westbrook was absolutely masterful tonight. In what was probably his finest performance of the season so far, Russ scored 24 points, snagged 13 boards and dished out an aforementioned 24 (!) assists. His 3-point shooting is still ghastly, but if he can reign in his shot selection, the Brodie is still capable of MVP-level performances.

TERRANCE FERGUSON. A+. . SG. Oklahoma City Thunder

Have a game, Terrance Ferguson! The young guard had his best game in a Thunder uniform as he splashed a career-high seven 3-pointers, on his way to 21 points. With his defense being so sound already if he can continue to shoot at an impressive clip, the OKC Thunder have found their shooting guard.

A. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PAUL GEORGE

Paul George had another typical Paul George performance. He continued his strong season with another 30-point effort to go along with three steals and eight rebounds. Not the best game George has ever had, but he is such a consistent player that it’s hard to fault him for his game tonight.

. PF. Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT. A

Gotta give it up to Jerami Grant. With Steven Adams hampered with an apparent ankle roll, Grant was plagued with the duty of defending LaMarcus Aldridge the night he decided to turn into Wilt Chamberlain. No matter how many points Aldridge scored, Grant fought valiantly to his own impressive line of 25 points and 12 rebounds.

STEVEN ADAMS. A. . C. Oklahoma City Thunder

Steven Adams rolled his ankle late in the 4th quarter while the OKC Thunder were in the midst of their comeback. He made a heroic return to tie the game in the first overtime and send it to a second with his thunderous flying dunk. Unfortunately, he didn’t play after that, so let’s hope the Big Kiwi is gonna be okay. He finished the game with 19 points and seven rebounds.
