Grades: Paul George saves the day as the OKC Thunder shock Sixers
By Sinjin Snope
OKC Thunder Best Reserve:
Dennis Schroder carried the OKC Thunder bench tonight on his way to a cool 21 points. If he can maintain this level of production off the bench, while not being inefficient, this OKC team will flourish. Having a second ball-handler opposite of Russell Westbrook could be key in a potential playoff series. I’ll forgive you for the heart attack you almost gave me with that turnover this time, Dennis.
Just don’t do it again.
Best Opponent:
This guy is an absolute monster. Embiid lead his team with 31 points and 8 rebounds as he was tough for the OKC Thunder to handle for most of the day. His ability to stretch the floor, given his size, is so unique and will give any defense in the NBA fits.
Maybe it’s a good thing the Thunder only have to play against The Process twice a season.

- Russell Westbrook, for the love of all that is good in this world, please stop shooting 3-pointers at inopportune times.
- Paul George is so, so good. He makes basketball seem easy in a way we haven’t seen since the days of he who shall not be named was still scoring points in an OKC uniform.
- Big win for a team that really needed one. Let’s hope this sparks a winning streak.
