The OKC Thunder completely dominated the New York Knicks, winning 127-109 to make it two road wins in a row. Here are three takeaways from the game.

The OKC Thunder made light work of the New York Knicks, winning 127-109 early on Martin Luther King day. Right from the outset, Oklahoma City dominated on both sides of the ball, shooting 54.2 percent from the field, 51.7 percent from three and 84.1 percent from the line. OKC’s defense put on a solid effort for the second game in a row, holding the Knicks to 44.8 percent shooting and 30.8 percent from three.

Aside from the early minutes of the first quarter, Oklahoma City was in control the whole way building a lead as large as 23 points. Paul George cooked the Knicks to the tune of 31 points while Russell Westbrook, Jerami Grant, and Steven Adams combined for 43 points. Terrance Ferguson was the only starter to not score in double figures, posting nine points in 20 minutes.

With the game under control, Abdel Nader put on a mini show in the fourth quarter scoring 15 of his 16 points against the Knicks bench. The Egyptian is showing why the Thunder picked him up this off-season and is staking his claim to be a regular in the rotation even when Andre Roberson and Alex Abrines return.

There wasn’t a lot to be said as the Thunder dominated from the outset. Let’s take a look at three takeaways from the game.
